Is this a good workout?
Hi, here is my planned work out
Monday- 30min weights, 200 sit ups, 10×1 min planks
Tuesday- 30min weights, 200 sit ups
Wednesday- 5000m run, 200 sit ups
Thursday- 30mins weights, 10x 1min planks
Friday- 5000m run, 10x 1 min planks
Saturday- 30mins weights, football training (1 1/2 hours), 200 sit ups, 10×1 min planks
Sunday- football match (1 1/2 hours) , 200 sit ups, 10x 1 min planks
I was just wondering whether this workout would be good enough to build muscles in my arms and abs as well as maintaining a good level of fitness by doing cardio? I was also wondering, what would be a good diet for the best results? I am 15 years old, 5ft 5 and I am 102 pounds. Thanks a lot!
You wont make much gains in muscle and size doing this. Your doing way to much work and will end up injured.Stick to compound movements such as squat, dead lift, bench press, rows. The dead lift and squat work your deep ab muscles so no ab work is needed on wednesday on monday work your obliques examples: side bents side plank. To much cardio will stop any gains in muscle to wish to achieve. ah something like this will work.
Monday: Upper body.
Tuesday:Abs Core(15 Min’s)
Wednesday:lower Body
Thursday:Rest
Friday:Abs and core(15 mins)
Saturday:Training
Sunday:Match
Eat plenty of protein and drink 3-4 litres of water a day
Good luck
