Antique Dietz Lanterns Railroad Lantern

does anyone know about this antique railroad lantern?

my great grandfather has this railroad lantern that i was wondering about its a red glass that has dietz, c+2, loc-nob, reg’ din usa written on one side and fitzall ny usa written on the other side. on the lantern part it has paules leader engraved and on the top it has pat. july 1890. does anyone know about this lantern??

Not sure exactly what you are wanting to know about it, but I have seen many railroad lanterns at auctions and such, and even the 100 year old ones in the best conditions are valued between $100-$200.
