Bad breath and diabetes?
My husband has had bad breath lately unholy, and I wonder if it could be related to their diagnosis recent diabetes? He is insulin dependent type 1, and finally get your dose under control. Not fruity breath fresh, which is bad, a bit like feces. My dad had the same thing years ago when I was in the Atkins diet that is why I think my husband might be due to changes in their diet. Anyone know anything about this, or how to help fix it?
lol ok, Well I know that when my blood sugar is high or when I have ketones, my mouth becomes nasty dry. So when you eat, that smell stays with me Foody, instead of having the saliva to wash that down. So chances are he's bad eating odor, and they are all sticking to the mouth and not wash down like normal people with normal amounts of saliva not. My advice, is the extra brushing and gum! the rubber will help a lot!
