My girlfriend just went on this diet MUTE 'New Diet Revolution Dr. Atkins .. Is there any getting to know this clown?
Dr Atkins is dead. It was a major proponent of low carb diets, ie severely restrict carbohydrates, while eating lots of protein. While this diet method can bring short term results, does not lend itself to a reasonable lifestyle for most people. Something like Beach Diet South is a more balanced approach to the low carbohydrate diet. Chances are your girlfriend, like most people quickly abandon this diet, which has severe limitations.
