ballet sleeping beauty characters
Does anyone know the status of "blue bird" in the ballet The Sleeping Beauty?

So for my school we have "sworn" they are alone in what we do at the end of the year for all dance teachers to determine if we stay in school. So I'm doing this alone "Blue Bird" from Sleeping Beauty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDiA27-5kSQ and my second is Kitri in Don Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPqPVFe3ykI if anyone knows who wrote these pieces, the choreography, and what the character is. any pieces of information are useful. thanks in advance.

The Bluebird Pas de Deux was performed in the third act of Sleeping Beauty. This ballet was choreographed by Marius Petipa, with music by Piotr Tchaikovsky Illych. The role of women in the name of this section is Princess Florina. Princess Florine is a delicate character and ladylike. The choreography is so simple and pure that one should focus on technical of steps in order to look good. The story of Don Quixote is based on the novel by Cervantes, Miguel of the same name. The ballet is choreographed by Marius Petipa, with music composed by Ludwig Minkus. This variation is made in the lively main square in Madrid, Spain. Kitri is a wild character, free spirit, so this variation should be performed with energy and passion. I would suggest watching YouTube videos of famous dancers performing these changes to learn and improve their own dancing. Good Luck! :)
