Please help me with my essay! Is an important part of my degree! : /?

I am writing an essay about how the pills argument of the diet may be detrimental and affect your health. In this essay, I need three reasons to convince people why they are wrong. But I'm stuck on this part … Can someone give me three reasons why the top of your head? I'm supposed to include these in my thesis statement, so it's pretty important. But it is also necessary write a paragraph that I have to take a stand for the opposite view. Meaning I have to write "Some may think that diet pills can be harmless if taken as directed, but …." I do not know how to finish this sentence. If I can choose a new subject? because it can be difficult convince them that diet pills can be harmless because they need to support my argument with facts, statistics and evidence.
