Is it possible to ruin your metabolism?

I suffered from bulimia for years, but rebounded last year, I have not been able to lose excess weight through diet and regular exercise. I'm sure you burn more calories than you take in (keep a detailed diary). I'm on top of healthy for my height and I would lose about 10-15 kilos. It messed up my metabolism permanently?

You have undoubtedly reduced metabolism, especially in what your bulimia have caused the loss of muscle mass and muscle have lower metabolism less than it is. But experts say it is possible to recover, especially as muscles recover. The following link may be helpful. Make sure you are doing a lot of strength and toning work and CV constant long (20 minutes) to burn fat. If you have reached a plateau, try new forms of exercise to work the muscles again and shock your body to better results. – Moreover, in regard to diet, concentrate on what you can fill in the dish that you nutritional benefit, instead of worrying about what to leave out works for me:) Good luck.
