Diet Grape Soda Pop

What effect does soda pop have on items?

Ok so my friend and I are doing a science project:
1.) aluminum foil
2.) teeth
3.) stainless steel wire
4.)penny
So, what are the effects of soda pop on these items?
Also the sodas are: coca cola, sierra mist, root beer, diet grape fruit

I’m not sure what effect soda will have on those items, but I know that cola takes paint off of cars and will clean the terminals of a car battery.
