
Im looking for a great work out program?
hi all im hoping you can help me in deciding what is the best work out program i should do!
Im about to start the gym next week, i intended on going 5 days a week monday to friday.
from your experience what would you recommend me do! please explain what i should do a day at a time, my goals are to put on size not to loose weight quick and effectively if that is at all possible. also what would you recommend that i eat for my diet i wanna make sure i get the right intake, because im sure the first couple of months are gonna be hard! i have not been for 2 years and then i only went 3 times a week. i appreciate all your feedback thank you all
Good for you. First off, you need to designate a time in your day that will fit into your daily routine. I go to the gym 5-6 days a week after work. It’s just part of my day. I think this is the most important part of a workout plan because so many people start off with the best of intentions and fail to follow through because getting to the gym becomes a hectic hassle. Everyday I spend 30 minutes on cardio. Usually the stationary bike because it is easier on my knees. However, you may want to skip this if you are just trying to bulk up. Now that I have my endorphines running I hit the weight room. I have two separate routines. One for Monday, Thursday and the other for Tuesday, Friday. Plan A is for developing the “pushing muscles”. 3 sets of bench press, 3 sets military press, 3 sets of tricep pull downs (2 hands), 2 sets of tricep pulldowns (one hand regular), 2 sets of tricep pulldowns (one hand reverse), 3 sets on the pec deck, and then 10 minutes of abs (situps, obliques, planks, bicycles, leg raises etc).
Plan B is to do the “pulling muscles”. 3 sets bicep curls (two arms preacher curl), 3 sets bicep curls (one arm), 3 sets lat pull downs, 3 sets back butterfly, 3 sets rows, 10 minutes abs.
On top of this, I alternate every three weeks between high reps and high weight. So, first three weeks are reps of 10-12 and second three weeks are 6-8.
