Exercise: 1,000 calories per hour?

I am currently burning 500 calories an hour at the gym: Elliptical for 40 minutes and the treadmill for about 30-35 minutes until I reach my 500 goal. I am watching Diet Tribe right now and the Trainer Jesse has them burning 1,000 an hour. What other exercises could I do to increase my calories burned without going over an hour? – or – Another suggestion is that in addition to what I am doing, I can do the circuit training for 30 minutes and burn about 400 calories more. What else can I do? Any suggestions?
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will consider them all. I am recovering from a cold but tomorrow I will be back at the gym! I will post back my progress.

If your gym has the Artic Cat, that will burn 1000 calories an hour on 38 resistance and 10 incline, be careful don’t over do it too fast…..also the never ending stairs burns a lot of calories also!
