Am I the only woman who feels this way?
I just checked Yahoo! Shine, which is geared towards women. It has a lot of items about things such as relationships, fashion and beauty, which is traditionally considered women. This may sound strange, but when I look at websites, magazines, books and other media that are supposed to be geared towards women, I often shudder. Somehow, it seems that is supposed to have nothing better to do with our time to focus on our appearance or make the people around us happy. I hate to say this but it seems it is assumed that the lives of all women revolve around such silly things. If most women really that stupid or superficial that their lives revolve around such things, or the creators of media have no idea what that means most women are? What is the reality of the situation?
I agree it is painful, but I think things like brightness and fashion magazines are aimed at teenagers, or young women actually. However, statistically, women only spend a large portion of their income on their appearance. What might explain why they have trainers and eyebrowists, not accounting.
