Mediterranean Diet Does Not Exist
The common woman found in North America developed an intellect that conceives “the diet” as something she hears family and friends talk about, she reads about in magazines, she listens to in the radio, and she watches on TV. Considering the intellect, ”the diet” was presented to the common women as a scientific marvel of the highest order which she is lured to purchase in book format. It also comes with a poster that she pins to the wall so she blindly follows a structure like this…
Monday & Tuesday eat foods 23T and 78-M — Wednesday & Thursday eat foods 3, 22, and as desired of 99 Type 3XW — Friday & Saturday she is told to fervently socialize everywhere and to drink 3 gallons of water each day — Sunday she is told to not eat, but she will pee a lot. Should the North American woman miss a meal or break the structured diet, the price of the book includes a mountain-like feeling of guilt that she must deal with.
In a planet ten galaxies away…
Recorded since 1300s ~and officially made Haute Cuisine by Catherine de Medici in the 1500s~ foods people on the Mediterranean French coast have eaten since those days gave them immense benefits. Such lengthy and healthy lives French people lived then ~and still live today~ is overwhelming evidence. In recent years, scientists validated the sensible and health-enhancing practices those folks naturally integrate into their lives.
I will use my French ancestry ~and the years I lived in France~ to unveil a French secret. So, you bring up your chair, and read on. The remaining of this article has two purposes: 1.- To change your health ~and your life~ forever if you want to. 2.- You decided if the “Mediterranean Diet” is something French people buy in a book format.
* French Mediterranean Foods *
* French Mediterranean people eat locally grown and seasonal foods. No canned foods.
* French Mediterranean people consume fish very often, and regularly.
* French Mediterranean people eat poultry and lean meat as opposed to red meat.
* French Mediterranean people eat legumes and nuts in their meals few times a week.
* French Mediterranean people eat raw nuts few times a week as a snack
* People on French Mediterranean eat bread with meals. They may spread Extra Virgin Olive Oil on it, and sprinkle on the crunchy bread Herbs de Provence which were dried and mixed together and kept in small cloth sacks.
* People on French Mediterranean use Extra Virgin Olive Oil in salads with cheese, small pasta, onions, spinach, celery, bell peppers, eggplants, artichokes, hard-boiled eggs, garlic, mushrooms, and tomatoes ~including cocktail-size~ just to mention some of the ingredients.
* People on French Mediterranean use regular Olive Oil ~the less costly one~ as cooking oil to treat food that will be immersed in oil.
* People on French Mediterranean eat sauces and other foods ~including their delicious croissants and pastries~ that may be regarded as fattening, but they do so in moderation and savoring their superb combination of taste and flavors.
* People on French Mediterranean drink water ~or moderate amount of red wine such as 6 ounces~ with each meal [except breakfast] as opposed to sodas. An aperitif and Cognac may be before before and after a meal, but they are meant to be taken in moderation.
* French Mediterranean Cooking Practices *
* Meals are cooked every day, and eaten immediately after. There are no left-overs.
* Foods and ingredients are as fresh as possible, and have been minimally processed.
* Vegetables are not boiled in water, but steamed without over-cooking.
* Butter, margarine, or fat are never used for frying their foods
.* French Mediterranean Lifestyle & Habits *
* They eat three or four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and small meal between
lunch and dinner if desired.
* They eat in company of family or others they feel comfortable with, they sit at a table,
they savor their meal enjoying the affection of a candid moment, and they take good
time to eat instead of eating in a hurry.
* They do not start eating a meal until the person that cooked it or served it is sitting at
the table. It denotes disrespect, and lack of good manners to bring one ugly moment
to the table.
* They do not feel guilt when they eat, and they savor each bite of each meal.
* They walk good distances and have physical activities. No jogging. No gym
.* French Mediterraneam Don’t Do It *
* Do not eat red meat by itself.
* Do not eat large amounts of red meat regularly.
* Do not eat processed foods, fast food, or any kind of junk food.
* Do not often drink sodas or processed soft drinks, or any at all.
* Do not count calories. It is irrelevant.
As you can see, the Mediterranean Diet does not exist. A healthy French lifstyle does.

Very cool site and I just bookmarked ya too!
Thanks for a great post, I never thought of it like that before.
? This information is really good and I will say will always be helpful if we try it risk free, So if you can back it up … That will really help us all. And this might bring some good repute to you. The diet of human beings prior to the arrival of agriculture, technology and civilization is known as the Paleolithic Diet … This Stone Age diet, in short, consisted of mainly lean red meat and vegetables. In this type of diet animal meat is consumed in large quantities and 45 to 65% of the energy needed by the body is derived from it. Over and over again, life expectancy studies related to diet, including by the World Health Organization (WHO), have concluded that Americans and Europeans would do better to eat more like third world peoples as the options provided by their additional wealth have most often lead to poor nutritional choices. This is the same basis for the USDA based their popular food pyramid in 1994 .. Researchers at Harvard have only suggested perhaps tweaking the food pyramid by replacing some dairy products and read meat with more fruits, vegetables, and fish while also emphasizing the importance of improving the ratio of “good” to “bad” cholesterol? Plus, exercise not only makes weight loss much easier, but also lowers blood glucose levels, decreases blood pressure, improved circulation, and increases one’s metabolism. Good regular sleep patterns are also just as important. Diets based on USDA recommendations include DASH, American Diabetic Assoc, Weight Watchers, and Jenny Craig.. When children understand how important “real food” is and where the natural ingredients of our food come from, they will increase the general population’s appreciation for preserving our natural environment and limiting toxins and polluting processes in our world. We may even trend back to the time when people stepped outside their homes to interact with family and neighbors in home and community gardens and block-party barbeques.. Does anybody even remember how nice those days were?
