Are there any good books out there that give guidlines to transform regular recipes into Gluten free recipes?
For baking and cooking? I eat a mostly Mediterranean diet but I add flax seed to most things and have been experimenting with garabanzo bean flour and other things to make gluten free food but sometimes when I look at a recipe I just don’t know what I need to replace certain items with. Is there a cook book out there that does this?
There are plenty of GF baking books on the market.. self education will do the rest.

I got 2 new GF books for Christmas, Shauna James Ahern of the Famous Gulten Free Girl Blog(not totally a cookbook, more of her journey to wellness)http://glutenfreegirl.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2007-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-08%3A00&updated-max=2008-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-08%3A00&max-results=9
and The Gluten-Free Vegetarain Kitchen by Donna Klein
I hope this is of some help. Celiac Sprue Disease is a frustrating to deal with but at the same time anything that can be dealt with 100% by ones diet is “not too bad”.

With all the technology out there, i’m surprised there’s nothing available to treat this more passively. It only seems appropriate though, we could all use a little change in our diets anyway if you ask me.
