The suit of a man is not just being tailored right away once requested. Qualities, feel, durability, and of course the price of the fabric to be used should be considered by the tailor for dress shirts, dress pants, and suit. But when it comes to custom dress shirts made online, you may not see the actual fabric for comparison but at least having knowledge in different variations of fabric is a great step than hoping and looking for a great tailor, just let your fingers do the walk. In formal and business occasions, a suit is usually paired with mens dress shirts. But when it comes to the BEST suit, wool is the perfect choice. Only the 100% wool if you go for quality and durability. There are actually has two types of fabrics can be chosen; the non-wool and wools.

Since wool is recommended for suit because of its breathable features, durability and style. It is far better to know their different kinds; the tweed, flannel, tropical and worsted.

The tweed is heavy wool that is not practical for use. The tweed was being used by men during the 1950’s and it is not recommended today by tailor shops because of its heaviness over other wool.

The flannel is the heaviest of all the non-tweed fabrics.   Flannel is not recommended for use in suit but it is good for charcoal gray and classic pinstripes of clothes. Flannel is usually used for pajamas, or long underwear.

The tropical, from its word is best for tropical weather or summer. It is a lightweight material and usually a light colored one that is prone to wrinkles. This type of wool is not recommended for a suit.

The worsted wool is the best type of wool that can be used for a suit. It is middle-weight wool that is made to last for a year-round wear. It is very durable and hard-wearing. The choice for worsted wool for a suit can either be a light-weight or middle-weight. But it is far better to use the middle-weight ones especially if your office is air-conditioned.
