natural beauty st louis
Does St. Louis have natural enclaves?

I’m applying to a college in St. Louis and am concerned there won’t be much natural beauty in the city.

We have some wonderful examples of many types of architecture. Forest Park is the jewel of the city and much nicer than Central Park in New York. We have other lovely city parks such as Tower Grove, Lafayette Square and Carondolet with old gazebos and trails to walk and ride bikes. Missouri Botanical Garden is known world wide. I’d suggest that you might want to do some reading up on St. Louis landmarks, parks and neighborhoods. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
The surrounding counties also have wonderful natural settings in their parks and its only a short distance to great state parks and wildlife areas.
