do i have to have a HS diploma to attend beauty or cosmetology school?

I’m 15.
My dream is to go to cosmetology school
but I don’t go to HS I’m suppose to be home schooling but my mom doesn’t get me books.. My mom forced me out of school just so she could have money to buy her cig’s
but i love styling hair it’s my passion..
I just wanted to know if anyone thinks its possible..

i think you need at least a GED. at least that’s what the commercials for our local beauty school says.
