Preparing all for interview is a good sign that you are interested for the job. Organize and properly file your credentials accordingly. Back-up a soft copy of everything in your flash drive and CD and at least one photocopy of every file. In case that your employer will be asking for any records from you may it be in soft copy, original or photocopy, you have it everything in your hand. Aside from your credentials, you also need to prepare your clothes for interview. Dress maturely if you will be interviewed in corporate firms by choosing the solid colors with a shade of navy blue, charcoal, gray or black with your suit and trousers. When it comes to mens dress shirts, go for a light colors such as cream, off-white, light blue or white. It is already your choice if you will have to wear a ready-to-wear dress shirts, tailor-fit shirts or dress shirts.
It is vital that you set a good impression on your employer as they will always remember your first meeting with them. Even the firmness of your handshake and the eye contact which you maintain is being remembered. The way you answer their questions, the dress you wear, your mannerisms and gestures. That is why going for an interview is like selling yourself to them, making them contented and impressed by your performance. You need to also project yourself confident when talking with them and refrain from being too arrogant.
Set your mind to your goal, and that is to land on the position you aspire of. Make every effort to impress your employer by answering all his or her questions smartly and refrain from saying, “I don’t know”. If you do not know the answers on his or her questions, tell him or her that you will be looking for the answers to find and know everything out. Also, do not let the employer feel that you are better than him, be humble. If the interview is done, do not forget to shake hands with them again and say that you are very pleased to have you given the chance to be interviewed. In that way, you are giving an impression of how great your character is and how eager are you to be with the company.
