Purchase of new mattress … which is best?

Right now I have a bed that's terrible … that "squeaks" sooo bad and not comfortable. I would not spend more than $ 1300. I was told that the Tempur Pedic is overrated. So I was looking at Sealy Posturepedic but I heard that people have pain back of it. Now I'm looking at Simmons Beautyrest and these are a bit expensive … but if they are big I'm willing to buy one. (I've also heard pillow tops are overvalued Is this true?) What is the best mattress in your opinion?

I just bought the Simmons Beauty Rest Rooms To Go, and a new bed. I spent $ 1200 for both the mattress set and bed … and love it. I have the top mattress and is so comfortable. The mattress is not only soft and comfortable, but has a great support. (I have constant back pain and this bed is wonderful.) I've heard that the Tempur Pedic mattress are overrated, so no money is spent. I was in the same dilemma that now stand between Pedic Sealy and Simmons, but when I talked to the person at Rooms To Go, it is recommended that Simmons and I am very happy.
