Why Weight to Go is Better Than The Rest

Comparing potential weight loss diets can be an extremely laborious task for any would be dieter. With many different diet plans claiming to offer near instant results and vast media coverage surrounding a high proportion of weight loss diets, it is harder than ever to make the right diet choice.

There have been numerous scientific studies on the subject of weight loss, the best ways to achieve it and the affects they have on your body. The majority of weight loss diets are based around one of two principles; either calorie restriction or carbohydrate restriction.

Low carb diets are those that typically restrict carbohydrate to less than 100g per day, recent versions of low carb diets include South Beach, Atkins and Protein Powder diet plans. Dietary carbohydrate is a key source of energy for the body and by restricting the intake of dietary carbohydrate the body does not have enough energy to meet its requirements. In order to meet those energy requirements the body is forced to break down fat stores, which when broken down produce various chemicals called ketones. Ketones are found in the blood stream, breath and urine and are known to produce undesirable effects such as bad breath. Some studies have raised concern as to whether a low carb diet is healthy after findings showed that blood ketones may increase fatigue, reduce exercise capabilities and alter mood. In addition there is also worry that following low carb diets can increases ones risk of developing potentially fatal conditions such as cancer.

Low calorie diets, on the other hand, have been proven to be the most effective way of achieving and sustaining weight loss. The principle behind a low calorie diet is based on scientific evidence, that in order to lose weight the human body must consume fewer calories than it uses in terms of energy. Low calorie diets can also be configured to allow the body to consume vital nutrients it needs whilst staying within a low calorie diet. Most healthy low calorie diets do not restrict calorie intake to fewer than 800 calories per day.

Weight loss diets that restrict calorie intake to less than 800 calories per day are referred to as very low calorie diets. Restricting the body’s intake of calories to this level can result in the same side effects as low carb diets due to the lack of energy contained within the diet plan. It also has to be said that these diets rely heavily on powdered meals so the taste experience is not good.

Weight to Go is a healthy diet consisting of delicious low calorie real food meal replacements. Meal replacement diets have been proven to be more effective than other low calorie diet plans. Weight to Go is a highly nutritious weight loss diet that is easy to follow, healthy and easy to follow.
