south beach diet salmon
I want a healthy eating plan but not a diet like weight watchers or slimming world would the following work?

I would like to loose 2lbs per week. I have tried, and failed, many many times on weight watchers, slimming world, slim fast, atkins, south beach etc etc etc.
What weight watchers has taught me is about portion size, and my common sense tells me what is fattening. I know about a varied diet. Would just eating sensibly and cutting out the crap, combined with exercise work or do i need to go to weight watchers?

is the following healthy and balanced? Any suggestions are most welcome, im only gonna do 1day of eating plans and its just a guide i just wanna know if i am on the right lines.

breakfast
1/2 grapefruit

lunch
salad leaves, onions, red peppers, boiled egg, tinned tuna, black olives, vinergarette type dressing

dinner

3 or 4 small new potatos halved tossed with 1/2 tablespoon olive oil and paprika/chilli flakes with salmon fillet grilled on the george forman and a salad with same dressing as lunch

snacks
fruit/veg, low fat yogurts, seeds and nuts etc

That sounds really good! You have the right idea. Eat right, exercise, and drink lots of water. It’s the only (smart) way to lose weight and keep it off.

Mind if I steal your dinner idea? Mmmm…. =)
