Should I put my cat to sleep to pee?
My cat is 4 years old. She has a problem with urination. Especially in my bed. Been a little more than half a dozen times over 2 or 3 years. We took her to the vet and the vet found some early crystals and stones perhaps. The we have a special diet cat food urine for months. We have been covering the bed with plastic. But the only time we found the bed and not in the room who wet the bed again. Do I have to take to the vet again, or should do the inevitability of put to sleep? It would not be comfortable taking her to a shelter because it has some emotional problems, typical coward. She still afraid of us after 4 years. Although we love and trust us, you just of hops. She lives with her sister from the same litter and they get along very well. So no problem. We clean the litter box every other day. What to do?
I think the initial problem was peeing crystals. When my cat had a urinary tract infection, urine is in my bathtub or in front of the toilet to get my attention. From the moment you did not have plastic on the bed, peed on it, the smell is still there (for her) and she was attracted to her. Try spraying the mattress with an enzyme based stain and odor remover pet store before replacing the plastic. He also said that she is a "coward." Their emotional problems also can be their leader to pee in bed. Talk with your veterinarian. There are medications to relieve anxiety of the animals.
