Should I put my cat to sleep to pee?

My cat is 4 years old. She has a problem with urination. Especially in my bed. Been a little more than half a dozen times over 2 or 3 years. We took her to the vet and the vet found some early crystals and stones perhaps. The we have a special diet cat food urine for months. We have been covering the bed with plastic.
