Atkins-how much can you loose in the induction period?
i want to hear stories of how much people have been loosing on the induction part of this diet and there on going weight loss and also does anyone have any good snack i can try… ive been eating pork rinds alot which i love…. but im sure ill get sick of them…..
You can lose lots of weight on the diet, my bud lost about a stone. But there is a big “BUT” (lol excuse the pun)
1.The amount of extra fat/bad cholesterol in your blood will go through the roof. That can cause irreversible damage to your heart, slight but after time can cause all sorts of complications.
2. After you have got really board with this stupid diet you will reach for the carbohydrates…… back too square one!
My best advice is:
1. Fresh food, no processed rubbish, good verity and portion control (try not to eat more than a small plate full in one sitting and don’t think because you are eating well, you can have loads)
2. Work out 30 Min’s a day, no weights, just 10 min warm up walking briskly, 15 Min’s of jogging or skipping (get your heart pumping) then a 5 min warm down.
In 4 weeks you will feel like a new person!
But i bet you can’t hack it…… there is always an excuse….
